THE BRIEF
Design a responsive web space to hold educational articles about energy, sustainability and education and create the design system. Design a new logo on brand for the website.

IDEA
Create an extension to the original British Gas website as a hub to hold the educational content. The typography used for the BG logo was custom-made, so I've designed a few missing characters based on the letters we already had.

HOMEPAGE
BG's new brand guidelines were a work in progress during the first stage of this project. I contributed to their digital guidelines with specs and introduced some of their new style and rationale.

MOBILE
The website is responsive and the number of characters needed to fit copy was optimised.

LOGO DESIGN
Since the existing letters from British Gas and Scottish Gas were custom-made. New letters for "The Source" as a product extension, were created by studying and applying the topology of the original existing characters.

BUILD GUIDES
Digital Styleguides for all breakpoints were created, including how white space, the grid system and font hierarchy would resize and dynamically respond to different breakpoints.
